Starting a business for superheroes is a spandex nightmare.

I’m Arthur, mild mannered coder turned reluctant CEO. Getting my company off the ground hinges on winning a grant that comes with stipulations. I have to crawl back to my ex for an office and for some reason I think all my employees are superheroes in disguise. And one of them might be drunk.

Then there’s Ricardo. Once upon a time he was everything I wanted in a man. Charming, reckless, dangerously handsome and horribly immature. Now he seems to have grown up and I have to see him every day on the way to work. He says he’s a changed man and traded partying for ambition.

The worst part? I believe him. I think.

Between supervillain threats, hiring nightmares, and my sister offering HR services with a baseball bat, I’m trying to keep this company afloat. But Ricardo keeps showing up right when I need saving most.
